WAYS TO DONATE

Bright Futures 2025 Campaign

Children deserve consistency and a chance at a Bright Future. You can help provide both for area youth by participating in our 3-year Campaign- Bright Futures 2025. Your 2023 and 2024 pledge will be placed in an interest bearing account to be applied for programming after September 2024.  Your 2025 pledge will be applied to programming. Why September of 2024? The BGCWC is facing a HUGE funding cliff when ESSER funding ends. By planning now by making fiscally responsible choices, and starting to fundraise for this funding gap, we can ensure that our current programs in place in Marietta, Belpre, Lowell, Beverly / Waterford, Newport, New Matamoras, and Noble County can continue to serve so many youth in SE Ohio. Participants in this campaign will be billed Quarter 1 of 2024 and 2025.

 DONATE

At Boys & Girls Clubs of Washington County, we strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn, grow and thrive. We believe that every child deserves access to essential resources that can help them reach their full potential. That's why we are always in need of certain items to keep our programs running smoothly.

Some of the items we are always in need of include tissues, paper towels, wipes, and personal hygiene items for our Care Closet. These essential items help ensure that our members stay healthy and comfortable while participating in our programs.

We also need printer paper, construction paper, colored paper, colored pencils, crayons, markers, and coloring books to support our arts and crafts programs. These activities help promote creativity and self-expression in our members, and we believe they are a crucial part of our curriculum.

In addition, we welcome donations of board games, card games, and balls for the gym, including basketballs, kickballs, soccer balls, and softballs. These items help promote physical activity and teamwork among our members, and they provide a fun way for kids to socialize and make new friends.

Your support can make a significant difference in the lives of the children we serve. By donating the items we need, you help ensure that we can continue to provide high-quality programs that help children thrive. Thank you for your generosity and support!

Cash/Check donations can be mailed to or dropped off at the Marietta Club Main Office.

Garrett Scott Memorial Teen Center and Music Program

The new teen center will feature a hangout lounge for relaxing with friends and homework stations, a kitchenette for afterschool snacks, and a music studio. The lot next to the house will become a playground featuring musical instruments for our younger members. Help us in creating a safe space designed for the teens in our community. All new features are in memory of our late teen coordinator, Garrett. Garrett was with the Boys & Girls Club for 6 years. He began as our game room coordinator and worked his way up to Teen Coordinator. Garrett had a natural passion and talent for music and played drums from an early age (but his favorite thing to tell people was that he actually started playing the tuba before the drums). He always tried to incorporate music into his lessons with the teens. Both aspects of the new center are constant reminders of Garrett’s passions for serving youth and his love of music.

Please join us on our journey of creating a space to help us serve teens in Garrett’s honor.

The Kroger Family of Companies is committed to community engagement, positive social impact and charitable giving at the national and local levels. Every community is unique, but our common goal is to partner with the neighborhoods we serve and help the people there live healthier lives.

One of the ways in which we do this is through our Kroger Community Rewards program. This program makes fundraising easy by donating to local organizations based on the shopping you do every day. Once you link your Card to an organization, all you have to do is shop at Kroger and swipe your Shopper’s Card.
